Meet Our Parent Dogs

At Luxury Paws Cavapoos, our parent dogs are carefully selected for health, temperament, and overall quality. Raised in our home as beloved members of the family, they are at the heart of our commitment to producing healthy, well-socialized Cavapoo puppies for loving homes.

We believe exceptional puppies begin with exceptional parents. Each dog is chosen not only for appearance, but also for personality, health, and the qualities that make Cavapoos such wonderful companions. More importantly, they are cherished members of our family and play an important role in the lives of the puppies they help bring into the world.

Health Information

Ozzy was selected after nearly three years of searching for the right deep red Miniature Poodle with strong health foundations and clear genetic testing.

He has completed Embark genetic testing and was chosen not only for his beautiful color and personality, but also for the transparency and health practices of his breeder.

As a young dog born in May 2025, additional age-appropriate health evaluations will be completed as he matures. At Luxury Paws Cavapoos, we believe responsible breeding begins with patience and thorough health screening, and we look forward to sharing future health clearances as they become available.

Personality

Ozzy may only weigh nine pounds, but he has a personality far bigger than his size. Full of confidence and charm, he naturally becomes the center of attention wherever he goes.

Affectionate and deeply people-oriented, Ozzy loves to cuddle and would happily spend the entire day snuggled beside his favorite people. He is remarkably gentle with children and has formed a special bond with our six-year-old granddaughter, playing carefully and showing a sweet, patient nature.

Like many dogs with big personalities, Ozzy is convinced he is much larger than he really is. He proudly keeps watch at the window and even growls at the Whippets if they wander too close to his box, taking his self-appointed guard dog duties very seriously.

Highly intelligent and eager to be involved in everything happening around him, Ozzy is truly too smart for his own good. Still young and maturing, he continues to surprise us every day with his loving nature, playful spirit, and larger-than-life personality.

Ozzy’s Story

Sometimes the dogs that mean the most are the ones we spend years searching for.

I spent nearly three years looking for the right deep red Miniature Poodle to add to our program. More than color, I wanted excellent health and complete transparency. Clear Embark genetic testing was important to me, and I was willing to wait until I found the right breeder and the right puppy.

Although I originally expected to spend far less, I quickly realized I had found a breeder I truly trusted. Her communication, photos, videos, and willingness to share health information gave me complete confidence, and I knew I had finally found what I had been searching for.

After a ten-hour drive, I finally met the little puppy I had only seen in pictures. Coming from a background of raising Whippets, I was amazed by this tiny 2½-pound puppy with such an enormous personality. At just nine weeks old, Ozzy was already larger than life.

When his breeder placed him in my arms, I teared up. The moment he kissed my face, it felt as though he were greeting a mother he had always known. Despite his tiny size, there was something incredibly special about him, and his rich deep red color was even more beautiful in person than I had imagined.

Named in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, he proudly carries the AKC registered name Clarriott’s Ozzy Osborn. True to his namesake, Ozzy quickly became the center of attention in our home. He thinks he is a guard dog at the window, growls at the Whippets when they wander too close to his box, and adores our six-year-old granddaughter, with whom he is endlessly gentle and patient.

Today, Ozzy remains a loving little cuddle bug who would happily spend every moment beside his people. He may only weigh nine pounds, but his personality is much bigger than his size, and he is quite simply too smart for his own good.

Health Information

Lilly has completed Embark full panel genetic testing and was selected for her loving temperament and the qualities that make Cavapoos such exceptional companions. As a foundation dam in our program, we are committed to responsible breeding practices and will continue to prioritize health and temperament in every generation.

Personality

Lilly is independent by nature, but deeply devoted to her people. She doesn’t demand attention, yet she always seems happiest when she is close to those she loves. Whether resting beside someone on the couch, following quietly through the house, or sleeping under a desk while work gets done, Lilly simply enjoys being part of everyday life.

Her gentle and trusting spirit makes her especially wonderful with children. Patient, accepting, and endlessly loving, Lilly seems to assume everyone is a friend and offers affection freely. She has an extraordinary ability to trust and love without hesitation, making her not only a treasured member of our family, but also the kind of companion that embodies everything we love about the Cavapoo breed.

Lilly’s Story

After more than a decade of raising Whippets with my husband, I found myself missing something I hadn’t experienced in many years—a Cavapoo. I had bred Cavapoos in the past, and while I adored my Whippets and their affectionate personalities, I missed the devoted companionship that first made me fall in love with the breed.

I wasn’t searching for a future breeding dog when Lilly came into my life. In fact, I was still, and still am, searching for the perfect Tri-color Cavapoo with  health clearances to add to my program. Lilly was simply meant to be my pet—a cuddly little companion to balance life with a house full of active Whippets.

But from the very beginning, there was something different about her.

Unlike my Whippets, who are perfectly content to relax nearby while I work, Lilly simply wants to be with me. Whether she is sleeping under my desk, curled up beside me on the couch, or quietly following me from room to room, she is happiest when she is close to the people she loves. She doesn’t demand attention; she simply wants to share life together.

If she thinks I’m not paying enough attention, she’ll tilt her head with a look that seems to say, “I’m far too cute to ignore,” and I have to admit, she’s usually right.

Over time, I realized that Lilly possessed the kind of temperament that families dream of. She loves unconditionally, trusts completely, and approaches life with a gentle, accepting spirit. Watching her with children has only reinforced that belief. She doesn’t just tolerate affection—she embraces it, always choosing love first. Long before any breeding plans were made, I knew she was something special, and for nearly a year I have known that, pending her health clearances, she deserved to become a foundation dam in our program.

Then one afternoon with my six-year-old granddaughter simply confirmed what I had felt all along.

Watching Lilly patiently accept being carried around like a baby, fussed over, and loved with all the imagination that only a little girl can have completely warmed my heart. When my granddaughter later tucked her under a blanket with a pillow and apologized for putting her ears up with a bow, I couldn’t help but smile. Lilly never questioned any of it. She simply trusted, loved, and accepted every bit of affection that was offered.

That day didn’t change my mind about Lilly. It simply confirmed that I had made the right decision.

Because if I could give every little girl a dog with Lilly’s loving, gentle spirit to grow up with, what an incredibly rewarding gift that would be.

Today, Lilly remains the cuddly baby of the family, despite not being the youngest. While I continue my search for that perfect  Tri-color girl, I know one thing for certain: dogs like Lilly are rare, and the opportunity to share her remarkable temperament with future families is something truly special.
